![]() Unfortunately, 8bitdo included the wrong-sized screwdriver for taking the controller apart. The SNES Classic controller was a bit trickier. That said, I had no issues closing the controller back up. Feels like you can accidentally break it off if you're not careful. The only downside is that the ribbon that connects the board to the new charging port is a bit awkwardly placed. The controller's board comes right off and you simply insert the new board in its place. You just use the included screwdriver to remove the screws on the back and take the controller apart. The NES Classic controller was incredibly easy to mod with 8bitdo's kit. I received my 8bitdo mod kits for both the NES Classic controller and the SNES Classic controller and I thought I would share my thoughts for anyone considering buying these.
